I made up a prototype adapter bracket to see if I would like to change the stock mirrors out for gixxer mirrors. I think the 650F would look nice with gixxer mirrors and maybe some flushies to cover up the stock mounting holes. Looks like I may have to persue this alittle further. What do you guys think?

That does look pretty awesome. I would be interested on what you used for the adapters.

I used some 90 degree aluminum extrusion, 1.5" x 1.5" x 1/8in wall. All I did was cut it to length approx 3-1/4". Then I traced both mounting bases on one side of the extrusion and cut them out. I drilled holes for mounting them and for the wiring. The gixxer mirrors are supplied with mounting studs (basically all thread) witch can be removed. I then used some standard socket head cap screws in thier place. to mount from undernieth. I then bent the brackets in a vise to achieve a disirable angle. Repeated several times to get the best look. about 45d. I painted them black for a better look.
This was just a prototype bracket to see if I liked the look. I still have some tweaking to do to get them just right or possibly design an adjustable bracket. It was a fun little saturday project. I'll post more as the project evolves.
