Has anyone done a chop job on the rear fender? I'm thinking about doing this instead of the costly fender eliminators. Any advice / instructions would be appreciated

Search is your friend. I recall a recent story here wherein a poster took a dremel to his, with quite satisfactory (if not the prettiest upon closest inspection) results. I'm debating doing the same thing at some point, as I can't really justify the prices of the aftermarket undertail kits. I think with the benefit of the experience of others, a steady hand with the dremel, and juditious use of the sanding/buffing bits to smooth it out, it can possibly go quite well.

I'll be doing the same thing, in my opinion I can't warrant spending the cash for arse end of the bike. Biker_Fox chopped his up and it looks tight.
