So today went out on Mt Rainier Hwy, heading for the small town of Morton. Very warm day in the 80's slight overcast. Got started late morning after doing some maintenance to my friends GSXR before the trip. Took some pics for your viewing pleasure of some of the places we stopped. Day started out great. Hit a couple of open sections and really stretched the Gsxf's legs. 1st section around 120. 2nd section 130. (highest speed on this bike yet) Jumped into some twisty's before hitting Alder Lake. Turned on the Morton Hwy passed one car and mellowed out just in time for a WSP trooper to drive by. We were doing 62 in a 55 no worries...... or so we thought this trooper was bored. Funny thing is..... trooper turned around threw his lights on passed me then immediately pulled behind my friends 750 . I still pulled over being the friend I am and we all had a nice (no ticket) conversation about safety equipment that is state required on all motorcycles. Mostly due to my friends bent up plate, no mirrors and side reflectors of any kind. So we were let go and business as usual. On with the pics.....

Made some young lady very excited with those loud pipes.

My friends sad attempt to catch me mid corner....... long corner just started to get my lean on.

Hope you enjoyed the photos! 8)

Nice pics Onespeed. I really like that last one in the corner. 8)

Some police are amazing.......here in New South Wales they are more interested in revenue raising than anything else. We would get a ticket first, then the cop would try to be nice.

A while ago, a cop pulled my son over on the freeway (luckily I was behind him in the car, as I had his wallet and licence). Geoff was 5Km/h under the speed limit and riding sensibly. When I asked the cop why Geoff was pulled over, he answered...."Because I can". Typical of the attitude over here.
