Hey guys, I'm new here and just bought an '08 gsx650f in black. I am looking for some nice hard side cases for my bike. What recommendations do you have for me? (Please post link if you have it). Also, do I have to buy the mounting hardware seperate? How much can I expect to pay for 2 side cases and mounting hardware? I am also looking for a scorpion slip on (I love they way they sound), what kind of scorpion is best and where is the best place to buy it? I'm not familiar with the best places to buy motorcycle accessories, so any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I was also looking at the soft saddle bags, which are much much cheaper. Do you guys think the hard cases are worth the extra money? Please share why or why not. Thanks.

I travel quite a bit, and stay overnight. I also travel with a handgun where legal.

my problem with soft bags is that the contents are only a knife cut away from a would-be thief (I was going to say highway bandit, but that has a different meaning on this forum). I like the hard cases for the added security. just something else to think about.

I've traveled successfully with soft bags but understand the security issue. I just never put anything of value in them, so if someone wants to steal my pants and underwear...I have always had a tank bag or tail bag with a carry strap. For me I use the bike for commuting but I can plop on the soft bags for a weekend trip when needed.

That is an awesome looking bike. If I am seeing that correctly, that says "Suzuki" on the side cases. How did you get the Suzuki emblem on the givi cases?

try everything motorsports at this link .... http://www.everythingmotorsports.com/index.htm

give them a call, they are a great place to deal with, when i got mine they were about a $1000 for the lot. These are Bandit 1250 bags and fit the 650 perfectly.

Ok, here I can get the mounting and the 2 side cases for $769.99 free shipping + $50 for gloss black inserts. Is this a good price?

My oem side cases are on back order, and it is untelling when they will be in. Anyone know where I can get them other than my suzuki dealer? I definitely want them to say "suzuki" on the side.
