Does anyone know if Part Number: 94470-17H00-EGR and Part Number: 94480-17H10-YAY share the exact black colour.

My bike is the black and silver (first part number) however the all black (second part number) is much less expensive.

I’ve also been told by dealer that the fairings come with the heated shield and foam for protection against rad but I’ve read on this blog they don’t. Can anyone confirm because there seems to be a disconnect between what the dealer is saying compared to what I’m reading here.

Also if the fairing doesn’t come with heat shield/foam protection can I use my existing ones?

Thanks

Your dealer has two part numbers that's more than mine had in california, i had front bumper hit lower faring after the car spin right to left with a pick up truck sliding with it, i brake steer from both units but the bumper bounce of sound wall. i hit the bumper , no other choise. any way 650 stay up great bike in emergency work.

So i replaced both left and right. mine came with all the graphics, and i like it. yours is a pre option one less but if u want the graphics u have to put on. might be cheaper or go no graphics.

Heat shield are aviation grade quality, the red hi temp rubber and foil is the same you will find in a aircraft engine bay. if u have low mile u can use heat gun low temp or hair dryer to remove, thats what i did or you can buy new, do one or other DO NOT LEAVE OFF.

Thanks you said "yours is a pre option one less " how do you knowthe part numbers I've indicated do not come with Graphics. Do you have the part numbers with the Graphics?

Also do you know if the part numbers I've indicated use exactly the same black....btw my dealer did provide the part numbers I looked them up at partshark.com

I love it: dude's first post is to ask for some advice.
Second post is to question said advice...

Welcome, "coolitalian". But I think I'll be the judge of that ;)

I wanted to let everyone know Suzuki has confrimed that Part Number: 94470-17H00-EGR and Part Number: 94480-17H10-YAY share the exact black colour. Color Code- YAY PEARL NEBULAR BLACK. The fairing panel has only the “GSX650F” logo on it, no striping which if I could show you the picture works really well with the current decals.

Partshark.com has left and right fairings black and silver for $492.83 each and the all back (YAY) for $273.97 so there's a considerable cost savings. They also use USPS for shipping and quoted me $60, since there's no duty on motorcycle parts all you pay is the HST in Ontario with Canada Post delivers it. The only caveat is you need to have the exact HST payment on hand when otherwise Canada Post will not leave the package. They will tell you the exact amount and come back the next day.

If you tried purchasing these parts in Canada the black and silver cost $695 each and the all back $395 each. I hope this helps those of you whom like me need replacement OEM fairings.

I would love to but I don't know how. I live in hamilton ontario and have asked every suzuki dealership and no one knows anyone that fixes plastic fairings.
