I have uploaded the first part of my ride down the Clyde Mt with friends.
Note I forgot to put shake reduction on when using the camera so it is a little bumpy.

This is my first ride on this road with the GSX, I did feel the weight of the bike trying to slow it down. You will hear at one point a compression lockup.

It seems much slower in the video... :) honest.

Splinter,
Thanks for the fantastic video. Living on an island, beautiful scenery, perfect weather, riding the best motorcycle; life just doesn't get any better than that! Enjoy and best of riding to you.
Aloha from Hawaii, the other island.

Hold on while I highlight my map of rides I must do before I die. 8)

What a workout !!! That's some seriously sharp bends to get around.
Not something I'd want to push the 'F' through too hard. Good to see you stuck to your limits. :D

That road is similar to the conditions to what I was riding in when I had my accident a few weeks back.
Due to a previous accident (hit by car 4 days earlier) I was coming down the mountain approaching a right hand bend,
and the throttle stuck open and I couldn't slow the bike down in time. Lucky me instead of a having a safety ramp
I got to use a steel pole and drainage pit. $5700 later and my bikes ready to go again.

Good Vid. Totaly enjoyed it. :D

Cheers. BB

gsxblazin... thanks I had fun making it.

BikerBoy... it is one of many around here... Kangaroo Valley way, Clyde, Brown Mt and Jambaroo Way just to name a few. Spend a week on the NSW southern coast and still not ride all the good roads.

PART 2!!

Yeah, all you NSW guys have just about convinced me to plan a trip in the new year. Looks like you've got some great rides, and also the chance to meet up with a few members from this forum too would be great.

Keep the vids coming Splinter.

Cheers. BB

Great video of the clyde .Even alot of NSW people don't know about it .
You can't really tell how steep it is ,but all the saftey run off ramps give you an idea.
