I'm 6'4" and would love any help rising the ride height of my bike. Has anyone done this yet? I've seen several lowered machines but nothing raised? I did however find a supplier on the net that seels the riser kit, but he's yet to have sold one...

To lower a bike ,they use dog bones ,from what I gather you can get the same to lift the rear.
Have a look on the bandit forum ,they seem to want to lift the bikes rear .
The bandit 650cc ,is the same bike as ours ,just with out a fairing.
And the 1250cc ,it alittle the same .
Use the search and put in "jack up " or "lift" will get you some tips.

Hey Chris I'm running 1" Risers. You can also get the 1" up and back and they'll fit without you have to do anything to the cables.
Hope that helps

I did infact find what you are calling the "Dog Bone" style riser. I'm going to give it a go and see how it works. I'm just hoping it doen't compromise the ride quality???

Longer dog bones will increase the height of the rear of the bike, but not the front. Increasing only the rear results in a quicker steering bike.
I believe when they lower a bike with shorter dog bones they also slide the front forks up a little (hence lowering the front). I dont know if it is possible to raise the front of the bike.
Assuming everything I have said is true (it may not be) then longer dog bones will change your bike quite a bit, i.e. faster steering, more weight on your hands, more sloping seat to push you into the tank. These assumptions have prevented me from pursuing the idea any further.
