I've never used them. But I did order a set of grip puppies in hopes to save my wrists from the buzz at 80mph. Got good reviews from the sport touring community and they are cheap and easy to install!

The tank bra suzuki sells for around $40 is awesome ! Gripping the bike is way easier plus I never have to think about what's touching the tank (so I can avoid scratching ). Easy on and off for washing as well. Great Item for the Money !

I have these and really like them
http://www.techspec-usa.com/products/gs ... ector.html They are less "aggressive" then the stomp grips but work well.
I also make short trips in town in the summer in shorts (ya I know) and they are great for that.

I have gripsters on my zx6r and they do help a lot.. I didn't put them on the 650f because I don't get that feeling that I may slide off the side of the bike while in a turn as much as I do on the kawi.

BUMPPPP has anybody gotten and or installed a set of these, I am curious to order a set but am not sure which route I want to go. I am leaning towards the clear stomp grip but dreading the install LOL

I was looking at some of these options just yesterday, when tank pads came up in another topic. For whatever reason, the tank bra just revolts me. I guess it just reminds me too much of the days when people used to put those ugly bras on their Porche 911s. The stomp grips seem like a decent option, but they're kind of a solution to a problem I'm not having. I did find that there are side pads available for most of the revcent GSXR models, I'm going to have to check out some of these bikes to see which pads might fit. Just from initial impressions, the pads for the '08-'09 750 seem like they might work well.
The problem I remember with the car bra is that crap from the road would get stuck under it no matter what you did to prevent it and then it would up scratching the paint anyway I wonder if if the tank bra would have the same issue somehow
