It has been cold, and rainy for almost 2 weeks, with no end in site.

It was sunny and cool here today - rode to a beach about 20 minutes away, had a cappaccino, enjoyed the view then rode home.

My lawn is still covered in snow here and I'm scheduled to pick up the bike from dealership storage today :( At least the roads are clear. Numb fingers are better than road rash fingers. Awfully jealous of that beach right now

My new helmet (Shoei Raid 2) arrived yesterday and I was hoping to go out for a ride today to see how it feels on the road. But, of course, yesterday, when I had to work, was glorious sunshine; today, when I could take an hour out to go for a ride, it's slashing down with rain. Bah!

Living in Melbourne, is something that when it comes to the weather, expect anything and everything at anytime. I can jump on my bike on a nice sunny day and 20 minutes later freeze my ass off in the pouring rain, and hour later I'll be sitting by that beach having a coffee. Regardless of the weather I'm still out there clocking up those miles and enjoying every bit - rain, hail or sunshine.
