My lawn is still covered in snow here and I'm scheduled to pick up the bike from dealership storage today At least the roads are clear. Numb fingers are better than road rash fingers. Awfully jealous of that beach right now

My new helmet (Shoei Raid 2) arrived yesterday and I was hoping to go out for a ride today to see how it feels on the road. But, of course, yesterday, when I had to work, was glorious sunshine; today, when I could take an hour out to go for a ride, it's slashing down with rain. Bah!

Living in Melbourne, is something that when it comes to the weather, expect anything and everything at anytime. I can jump on my bike on a nice sunny day and 20 minutes later freeze my ass off in the pouring rain, and hour later I'll be sitting by that beach having a coffee. Regardless of the weather I'm still out there clocking up those miles and enjoying every bit - rain, hail or sunshine.
