Kims husband Matt here , just thought i would add a few lines of my thoughts of the F . I ride a 03 1200s bandit but every now and then i get to check out kims bike. There is nothing but good to say it works perfect and is alot of fun to ride, obviously not as much power as the 12 but has the stuff to bring a smile to my face just the same. A little less leg room than the Bandito is about the only thing that might be something that would bother me. The longest ride so far 30 to 40 min and it was great. Love the gear indicator most other things i already have on mine, gas gauge etc. Gasmileage is roughly the same with mine using a little more gas than the F.Headlights are a lot better on kims bike as well. Enough rambling already!.

G'day Matt, nice to hear from you and with another opinion.
I find that the bike is a lot of fun, the only problem being that here where I live it has been raining cats and dogs for the last 10 days !!! Too miserable to ride !!!

Well I know the feeling........ we are in our second day of rain and last look at the weather forecast was for another 3 days of rain; hopefully that will change for at least the weekend because we are planning to go to a bike event/show "Atlanticade" which is held yearly in Moncton, NB roughly 150 kms from us. In the past we have taken the car because basically you can just walk around and see all the sites (bike vendors, clothing etc.) and quite frankly the weather can be quite iffy sometimes. This year it's being held the same weekend as the "Bon Jovi" concert same city ...so it should be quite busy around there.
