Thanks HP, I am seeing your side of things now. From what I have come to find out the vstrom is actually pretty fun bike in the twistys. I was more hung up on the people who try to run off road alot with it.

I would not buy an FZ1.. Why..

1. I to don't think its any better then the GSXF
2. Cost and insurance.

I did consider a (2008) FZ6 and if I had the cash and the time to ride would look at a FJR1300.

I still haven't seen a bike with as many good attributes as the GSXF. Esp, when you consider the price and the ABS being offered on it where I live. Hopefully there will be a reasonable replacement for my GSXF a couple of years down the road.
