I just read an article on the internet that Suzuki is going to have to suspend all motorcycle manufacturing for an unspecified period of time due to the radiation problems in Japan. Apparently is due to the effect on the many suppliers of parts to the factory which have had to shut down due to the increasing radiation level's.

I'm going over to the dealer today and order up a bunch of parts for spares just to have on hand. :(

well actually Mr El Bandito IS correct talking to my sale guy, the last 24 months most dealers have been ordering JIT on inventory parts, thats means in a few months YEP will be big shortage of parts, and yes Suzuki Corp DID stop production of all of its MC lines, not sure now of status. Just go to Suzuki Corporate web site and you can read the latest.

Sorry, but If you check Suzuki's motorcycle production reports, even as of yesterday all motorcycle and engine production are unaffected, and are all running normally. They did suspend all manufacturing for a few days, but as of March 23, all motorcycle production was fully back on line.
