While you guys in the UK have your bikes parked away for the winter, spare a thought for us in Australia currently riding in 40°-45°C (100°-110°F) conditions. Open our visors for some fresh air you think, i think not, more like opening your face to a hot hair dryer. The things we have to put up with over here. :o

I live on the US Mexico border in the southern most part of texas....we can reallly ride all year long here. I would not recommend riding during the day durning the summer, but the nights are soooo nice

Went for a ride with my dad around the Canberra area a couple of weeks back, peaked at around 40 degrees. On the way home at about 2pm (morning ride) he said it was just getting to the right temperature... well I 'spose he is from Mt Isa.

Just a coulpe of tips who dont like the heat.. you can get thin gel packs in a vest you can wack in the fridge over night keep you cool during the day or goto the army disposal get a thin neck scarf and wet it down least it keeps the dry hot air of your throat and stops the dehydration.. usually the wet neck scarft is enough..
