Hello everyone I am new to this forum and the gsx650f, which I just bought in march. I love this bike after coming off a gs500f for almost 4 years. Its pretty much everything I want in a bike plus more.

Anyways I thought I would post up pics of my just installed tech spec high fusion tank grips. I ordered the bandit cut out cause the bandit, gsx1250, bandit 1250, plus probably others have the same gas tank. If your going to order from there site you can order the BANDIT cut out. If your not sure of what kind of material to get, e-mail or call customer service and ask for sample. They'll send you snake skin, high fusion, and a new c3 sample.

I also have a keiti tank pad that I ordered from motorcycle superstore.

I haven't ridden with the grip yet, but it have a good feel and protect from scratches.

Sorry if the pics are too big, but I'm kind of rushing to do this

If you have questions please ask.

Looks good. I'm interested in how well they work. May stop crushed grapes.

It's great stuff. On recommendation from a friend I bought the blank sheets to cut to my own design.
I was originaly going to get the fusion finish but went with the snake instead as it offers the most grip.

Have not put it on the Bike yet, but soon I'll be booked into a few track days and will be able to test it out.

Hey myfirstluv, can you update us on how you like the grips? This is something I'm interested in getting.

I think the high fusion grips work great. I've ridden with them and I get a great feel from them. The normal tank is really slippery but these keep your knees on the tank yet have enough slip so you can shift your legs when your turning. Excellent grip and no more fear of scratching the tank which is one of the main reasons I got them. Not to mention they look great.

I feel like the thickness of the high fusion is perfect, the snake skin is much thicker. If your worried about crushing your grapes you should definitely get the snake skin.

If you want something with more feel and cushion get the C3, one of the new materials they have. For me it was between the high fusion and snake skin.

Also the bandit cut out gives excellent coverage of the tank. They actually shave the edges of the cutout so that there is no 90 degree edge on it and theres no edge to pick the material off the tank. Dont forget to get samples if your not sure about the coverage.

One more thing, the customer service for tech spec is excellent. They are really good.

Does anybody have any pictures with the tank grips on our black bikes? I am curious to see how they match up.
