Since I'm into the touring-type sport riding ...... SWEET!
But 2 things: > Doubt will be brought to U.S. because of concern will sell in numbers to justify. Touring market in US is focused on 1000+ cc bikes. > If it is brought to US, expect price tag will be a bit steep. 650F + ABS + hard bags + exchange rate.
But I hope they bring it over!

I believe the Netherlands has had a "GT" version for a couple of years. It's just Givi Manufactured bags (you could buy similar bags from aftermarket sellers). The only advantage is that you get the "package deal" cheaper than buying the bags yourself.
Canada has a "touring package" for the GSX1250F, and the 1250F Bandit, but not for the GSX650F yet. Probably depends on how successful the 1250F touring package is.
The 1250 Bandit in the US does have those bags available, and they do fit the 650f from what I've read on this forum. So you can buy the bags at least. The ABS is the only thing that you wouldn't be able to get. You can get the luggage at a decent price here:

The GT version came out in 2009, then it was the 2008 version (probably had to much in stock of them left in 2009) colours/decals with MRA touring screen+ GIVI cases and I thought it didnt have ABS in its first year. Now its a version of it own with ABS and the same colours as the 2010 650F.
My hubby has the 1250 touring bike. Bought it with the side bags as well as top. He got his cheaper than what it would have been to buy the naked and get after market bags on BUT we also get our purchases almost at dealer cost because of all the business we've done and brought in. So, I highly doubt if Canada was to bring the 650 gt in, that it would be the cheapest route.

Looks to be a direct response to the new Honda NT700V - http://powersports.honda.com/2010/nt700v.aspx A medium sized sport tourer. From description all they are adding is a centerstand, hard bags, and a larger/adjustable windscreen.
whiting57 is correct that with a little bit of shopping around you can outfit a "F" model with these mods for less money than Suzuki likely wants to charge for the whole package.
