Monday, April 20th I rode to Tillamook, a city on the Oregon coast. The Tillamook Cheese place is located at the north end of the city. A round trip ride of 223 miles. I took the route home toward Portland, Oregon, which has at least 50 miles of one 45 mph curve after the next. Very good road surface.
8 miles east of Salem, Oregon is a wildlife preserve. Mostly marsh and fields for geese. OK, but Salem has pesky geese year round.
Kind of a typical view of low rolling hills near Salem, Oregon
The hwy 22 looking east from whence I came and my two riding buddies, Foot Foot and Foot Foot Foot
Oregon coast from the Winema overlook about 16 miles south of Tillamook.
View west at the coast from Winema view point
Tillamook cheese place. Huge cafe inside selling ice cream, lunches, cheese, etc.
Somehow an old jet fighter got impalled on a post near Tillamook
