I've received and taken a lot of good info from here in the past and haven't posted a picture of my bike yet. So thought about time I started to give back a little.
So here's a quick few I snapped off.
MRA Touring Screen, Oxford Panniers, Garmin Sat Nav and the main farkles.

nice one , how do you find the sat nav , im thinking its my next investment
I've found it great.
I've got the Garmin Zumo 550, comes with Mapsource software so I can plan my trips on my pc and load them onto the Sat Nav. It's like having a tour director, just follow the route.
I got a bluetooth earpiece and mic for the helmet and a bluetooth mobile phone. So I can make and receive calls through the Sat Nav while on the road. Someone rings up, the Name shows on the Sat Nav , I hit the button and can chat while riding. Main thing is I can also hear the audible directions from the Sat Nav as well as read them.
The Zumo 550 also comes with a car kit. So when I'm not using it on the bike I can use it in the car. That was the selling point for me, getting use out of it for both th car and bike.

Hi snout ,good to see your all set for touring ,whats the plans for a trip GOR ??
Great Ocean Road ? I've driven it but not on the bike. Would be a 2 day ride, maybe down to Apollo Bay the first day then return the second day. There's a route from Colac over through the mountains that looks like fun on paper which I might take.
I noted your trip to the Snowies and the Ski fields, that's a part of Vic I've never done and would like to do. I'm guessing I'd need 3-4 days from here to not be rushing it.
Happy with them, having looked at Twisted Throttle I could have ordered a pair of Givi soft panniers for the same prices delvered from them as well.
Down the track I haven't ruled out the Givi v35s or a Givi Topbox, but at this stage I only day ride so the soft panniers do me for being able to carry the usual day items.
I'd like to now get some bar risers, an inch looks good. Just trying to find a good place on the net to get them from.

Yeah the snowies is my fav place to ride.
Once the new site gets up and running I'll post some routes off google maps .

As an option look into 1250 bandit bars as they will fit and give a rise of about 1/2 to 3/4 inch
Brand new from Suzuki would cost about $90, second and might be as low as $20
Things to keep in mind if you do think of doing this
*the grooved part of the bar where they go into the clamps is a little different (the bandit is wider so the groves on the bar will show a little outside the clamps)
*the bandit bars a chrome not black
*the bandit bars are wider by approx 1 inch total so hose, wire and throttle cable routing is important (but it'll be important if you get risers to)

just an option to consider
Thanks for that. Hadn't considered the Bandit bars but I'll look into it now too.
