My fastest to date is 125 MPH --- for a short burst and again during rush hour. The tachometer was no where near the red line.

On my '08, bone stock, on regular 87 octaine with the 48ltr. CooCase on the back, 16T countersprocket, according to my Garmin 260, for over 2 miles, level road, with my porkey butt on it as tucked as I ever am:
132mph GPS :o , & not that close to red-line.
Indicated on spedo was almost 135mph. :?
Or most accurately stated; about 25mph faster than I want to ride it again.
My Bud @ the local dealership said it was a exceptionaly good running one for bone stock.

I opened up my GSX650F on a nice stretch of highway with a slight downward grade, I was able to hit about 143mph. And as we all know the speedometer is off quite a bit, so my guess is I was in the 137-138mph range. No special add-ons, just a basic shorty slip on; Overall: pretty happy with the power of my GSX !

At high speeds, take about 7-8% of the speedo to get the real speed. So its about 130mph.
