How fast will these bikes go flat out twisted, balls to the wall pinned? Has anyone added after market exhaust that improved their top end?

Something like about 240km/h.

An aftermarket exhaust isn't going to make you go faster... it'll sound and look better. That's it.

I have had mine up to 142 (keep in mind the speedo is 7 mph faster than actual speed) mph with a 2 Bros. Juicebox and slip-on. The Juicebox will do more than the slip on will. Even at 142 I had a little (not much) more to go but I ran out of road in theory. Wouldn't want to be called a squid...

110km/h. The state limit. I wouldn't want to break the law ;)

241km/h on speedo down hill. In real life, thats 220km/h. Above 120-140km/h the speedo is of by 10%. The bike just doesn't go faster with 85bhp. Maybe if you have a full leather suit

175km/h... Well, thats what the speedo said, i honestly dont believe it was that fast though... Keeping in mind that mines the 650FU, the learner legal/restricted/fun policed version... Spose you can still get into alot of trouble doing those speeds though :S

theoretical top speed with standard gearing/tyres etc etc is 244kph at full noise. with a 16 tooth front sprocket, theoretical top speed is 260kph at full noise. don't recon the little 650 has got the balls to get to either one tho (specially with my fat arse on it)

All I know is that I am still getting used to this new bike --- the acceleration is wonderful! Just the other day I was coming onto a highway via entry ramp and gunned to to get past traffic. In less than 10 seconds I went from 3rd gear and 35 mph to 6th gear and 105 mph. Then I caught myself and slowed down. Later this week she goes in for her 600 mile break-in check-up. Then I will be able to do some serious speeds.

OK, here goes, with 1300 miles on the speedo, it topped out at 126 MPH on a 1.5 mile straight flat stretch of road, that is what my Garmin GPS said, I did not run out of road, it just did not want to go any faster, that figures out to be 202.7 KPH, I'm sure the engine is still not completely broken in, and I do weigh 180 Lbs. So after a bit more break in it should go faster..

Dave01 and other Florida folks -- we should get together some time and do the roads around Tampa. The Myakka area has some good twisties as does the orange groves up around Brooksville.

I did 243km/h on speedo for three times. A friend of mine did 248km/h (yes, there's a video on youtube!) with the stock bike + 2bros pipe.

Now I changed my sprocket, and the max on speedo was 223 (but now is something like the real speed)... but I'm pretty sure that I can go to 230km/h, I didn't cut the revs in 6th gear... road was over! :P
