I just bought one of these to take on the ride Mescol and I are doing next month. They have come highly recommended,
by riders that do many hours in the sadlle across Australia as a 'must have item' on any trip.
It's a portable prop stand that can be used in conjunction with the side stand to get the back wheel off the ground
to tighten, lube the chain, fix a puncture etc....

They are Australian made and cost AUD$45 + delivery

That looks a good idea - even when cleaning the rim. Thanks BB :D

Yeah no probs. We'll try it out on the 650F and if you like it, you can take it home with you.

You've actualy got a few 650F items at my house already, just waiting to be picked up.
Not telling you what they are though. You'll find out it a few weeks.

Recieved my stand today. Certainly worth the $50. ($45 + delivery in Oz)

Looks like a car stand... here in Brazil we use to call it "monkey". Don't ask me why.
