Hello all, Just one week now and we arrive in Melbourne . The m/bike has been bought and is awaiting collection after sorting out insurance ETC, in the end we have gone for the 1250FA. Yours Robin
g/day Avatar, thanks for the message but i have had Nortons in my youth .the reason for the Suzie is that I bought my 1st one,a 250 Super Six in melbourne in 1966 and have only owned and ridden Suzuki,s eversince and have not even ridden any other Japenese m/bike . Yours Robin

Glad you went with the larger bike. Unless you are both on the smallish side I think two people touring with luggage would tax the 650 a bit.
If you get to the capital of Australia, which is not Sydney by the way, feel free to drop me a line if you would like to catch up for a coffee. I'm originally from California but have lived here for about 22 years or so.
You can see a few of my GSX650F adventures at http://dazza.id.au if interested.
Have a great time.
