What's the best way to get the ugly factory safety stickers the manufacturer insists on plastering on the tank off of the GSXF?

If it's an 08 with the stickers on the tank, they are under a clear coat, so no easy way to remove.

Just put the bike with stickers in the sun, let is warm up and peel the sticker off.
Use a solvent to get rid of the sticky glue layer.
Use solvent that won't affect the plastic or your paint

My stupid mistake for not reading properly. I thought you meant the stripe.

The safety stickers ARE NOT clear coated on.

Heat 'em up and peel 'em off. They are quite easy to remove.
I used a hair dryer to get them off and some eucalyptus oil to remove any left over glue.

Sorry again for the misread/post.
