Not a fan. Tried to buy an 07 VFR at a dealership here in Albuquerque. They tried to give me a 12% APR. I laughed and walked out the door. Went to a Suzi dealer and picked up my GSXF at 1.99%. I lpve the 07-09 VFR, but not the new one.
Also, why are Honda's so damned expensive?

Steve

looks cool. good alternative to the Aprilia Mana for those who are clutch-challenged. being a Honda, with auto trans, ABS, etc., etc. its gonna cost cubic $$$$$$$$$

I would prefer the faired bandit 1250 if it ever gets over to this side of the pond

plus, being new, the Honda won't have the paniers and topbox options from GIVE, etc. or any of the other goodies we so love to put on our bikes. the 1250, being basically the same as our bikes with a bigger motor, already has all of the goodies available

plus we can put all of the goodies on the 1250 with the money we save by not buying the Honda

just my opinion

Don't mind it at all. The website is well designed with plenty of action photos - why can't Suzuki do the same ? The same goes for Suzuki's after-market gear and accessories. :(

VFR1200Fireblade.

It's certainly got style. The colour's all class.

My friend has the K9 VFR800 and the build quality is sensational. If the 1200 is anything like it,
i'd say it's a bike worth looking at depending on cost.

I like the look of it.

A lot of people are knocking the auto transmission option but a few riders I've spoken too are interested in it. One guy has lost 2 fingers in an industrial accident and finds it tough working the clutch on his bike, this is a god send to him and he's keen to get an auto. And I imagine there would be other riders who maybe used to ride that can't anymore that an auto may be able to help out.

What do you call a motorcycle with an automatic transmission? A scooter.

I had the misfortune of seeing a necrotic scrotum on a patient once. Now, after seeing that Honda, the dead ball bag seems pretty in comparison. I think its just the exhaust silencer that really buggers up the looks, it is a total wank. The headlight is overdone also.

The look could best be described as "unfortunate".

saw a review in this month's Bike magazine. they said it would cost around 14,000 pounds. that's over $21,000 in real money at the current exchange rate. lot of money. wouldn't you really rather have a faired 1250 and $10,000+ to buy toys for it?
