Oh heck, I'll put in my 2 cents, if the oil container does not have the STAR symbol it DOES NOT have the friction modifiers that can cause clutch problems, if it has the STAR symbol it does have friction modifiers, it's that simple, that's all you got to remember, Later gang, Daveg
I just put in motul 7100/ 10w40 synthetic. I have used it before in some of the dirt bikes i have had and i have never had a problem with the stuff. I used mobile 1 in my last road bike apart, from being very expensive it is one of the best i have ever used. I could not get an mobile 1 today so i put motul in and it was $30 cheaper as well.

I use Mobil 1 4stroke Racing oil for wet clutches, 10w50. I try for every 3k, but wound up at 3400. I have about 1000 miles on new mobil1 and a K&N series filter, do I need to worry about water absorbtion?
