Look at the "don't do this at home" vid, see people reducing several thousand dollar machines to junk. And helping to keep emergency rooms busy at the same time. :?

I'm pretty sure that's precisely the reason, for example, that the Superbikes show on SpeedTV is always preceded by a message saying, "we do not accept stunt videos from viewers." That way, even if some unprofessional untrained asshat tries stupid shit hoping to get notoriety, they can't be held responsible. I'm surprised YouTube doesn't reject asshat videos on those grounds. Then again, if they did, perhaps participation would plummet, as the ratio of asshat to responsible videos there is so high.

Also one thing I loved in that vid was the dude that had a hamster-like cylindrical cage over his bike and rolled forward completely and rode on. Hilarious and quite clever, I thought. If completely impractical except for that single attention-getting purpose.

Those guys must be filthy rich to be able to put their bikes at risk like that. These kinds of videos make me glad I ride like a grandad.
