I had the two bros. liked it, but . . . at 2500 miles I really didn't want to repack it, and repack it, and repack it every 2500 miles. I got the scorpion. it's the only one I could find that you never have to repack. i would rather be riding or doing other mods to the bike than repacking a muffler.

just my personal, lazy, view on the subject
I don't know about having to repack at 2500 miles. I know Yoshimura state that repacking should be done every 7000-10,000 miles, and from what I understand Two Brothers are around the same length of time or longer. Also, Yoshimura do have steel wool baffle wrap available that will extend that time even further. I honestly don't consider the repacking of a pipe to be that big of a deal to sway your decision on which pipe you choose. And worst comes to worse and you don't want to do it yourself, you can get them done at a fairly reasonable price.

(1) Most people like to talk shit about Yoshimura, stating it needs to be repacked often (2) Most go with the cheaper louder exhaust brands (see above) (3) Most don't realize that ALL mufflers need to be repacked, Yoshi is just honest and tells you that up front (4) The Bazooka doesn't weight as much as it looks like it does (14.5 Lbs) (5) Yoshimura is the quietest, next to OEM (6) Most sell the bike long before anybody needs a repack (7) Yes I have a Yoshimura TRC (8) Yes I talk allot of crap (9) Most honest muffla post Eva!

Don't know. But I have a delkevic carbon 18"er.
...And I -really- like it.
So how loud is it? I'm looking at the carbon 9"er, and would like some volume. Found the SV650 youtube clip, but nothing with our bike and that exhaust. Even though I'm kinda old, I still like loud toys.
The two brothers is the way to go. Two brothers has a what they call a juice box. It is programmed for the bike and the exhaust. Works awesome thats what I have on my bike. Carbon fiber goes well with the black.

BuzzWrecker: the 18" is tastefully loud at best. its definately not a riot pipe or noise gun or whatever AT ALL, so far. Thing is, all these guys are groaning about repacking, but I think when some of that burns out or matts down or whatever, that it'll be just right on the noise scale.
If I had to do-over, I'd still not buy the wee lil 9 incher, but the 13-14 inch shorty deal seems like the ticket. real good and loud uncorked, but with the baffle in, it's likely about as loud as my 18 with the baffle out. a good two piece deal, if you ask me.
baffle out at the moment, it wouldn't bother me on a 200 mile run. it's that quiet. 18's just a fudge louder at idle and low rev, but it's a real good bit louder and boomier at 7k plus and on the gas, without being raspy or farty. I'm highly impressed with the 125 buck pipe. if you want cops and old farts shaking their fists at you, go ahead and go 9 inch lol but I'd take the shorty.
in fact, if someone has a 14" stainless/carbon/titanium one and they want the more quiet 18" ... lol I'll trade even up shipping for shipping
