I did feel the OEM pipe was way too quiet, and then once I started paying attention to it's size...it had to go. I also wanted a little louder pipe for when I am in town surrounded by autos, in that situation all I can do is watch out for them, wear my high visibility vest and wind up my bike considerably more than I normally would and make some noise! If they don't see me hopefully they might hear me and maybe figure out there is a bike around somewhere? In that situation I feel louder might actually do me some good??

Well no, not really, danger comes from the front and then turns left into you, unless of course your from another country..then they turn right into you! Give me a pipe that makes noise in front of me and to my left and I might buy into that idea.

Thanks all, think I'll spend my cash on some heated grips and a scotoiler first then perhaps a mod to make that massive can removable - be useful to batter the f*ckwits who pull out from side roads without looking with!
