Thought we could post some pics of what we have to put up with in winter.
For those of you comming into winter, spare a thought for what we had to put up with in winter this year. This was taken at my local beach in July 2009, It's the middle of winter and a cool 17°C I can't wait for summer and those lovely 40°C days.
The things we have to put up with over hear in Oz.

Eospro's photo is of Terrigal Beach, just down the road from Gosford. There is motorbike-specific parking just in front of the surf club, where there is a cafe that serves gooood coffee (right on the waterfront). Life is tough on the coast.
I'm off today to Karratha in Western Australia - 5 hour flight to Perth, then a 2 hour flight to Karratha. Temp at Karratha - a balmy 37/38 C. Lovely !!
