Yea.. I think bars are the way to go.. I am using MSR Dominators.. They are a little longer then the renthals (made for quads I think) and less of a sweep as well. I was worried about clearance issues, but they seem ok.. The fluid box hits the fairing right at the bump stop, so it's fine.. plus on the road you would never have the bars that bent.
The bars are the only thing on this bike that I find to be truly sub-par. Otherwise it's a fine bike.
