So there I was, feeling self-conscious about my scratched up fairing. I thought I'd do a little shopping.

Does this look like a good deal to you?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ABS-Fairing-Suzuki-GSX650F-2008-2009-08-09-440ZS-/260799424794?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cb8db691a

US$225 for shipping!

Ugh... Just when I finally came to a point in my life, spiritually, where I could shell out 400 dinero on a sheet of plastic... cue the sucker punch.

This one ain't much better:

For the low, low price of US$250 you get a single piece of fairing... pre-wrecked!

Joy of joys, it's a festival of bargains!

Asshats, every one of them.

.38, also, that pre-crashed fairing has a chunk out of the bottom, they don't even mention that.

to hell with suncoast.

that chinese bodywork will fit like garbage, I guarentee it, BUT, if you had a custom two-tone you wanted to do, I bet they'd accommidate you fully. it just depends on your situation.

I'd love to get a stock style 08 two tone, in GSXR red or yellow, with the silver parts gloss blacked on the two tone.

that would look hardcore good. and if it isn't extra from the china boys, and your fairings are already wrecked...
;) as long as you can make the stuff fit, win win win win win.

"The China Boys" are charging you 600 bucks for cheap plastic.

You could probably swing a custom job on your current OEM plastic at a body shop for less.

Or buy the paint and professional tools and have as many custom paint jobs as you please.

I sure as Hell ain't paying 600 US-fucking-dollars on Chinese-made plastic fairings from a Korean on the goddamned internet. It couldn't be shadier if it was distributed by a Nigerian prince that wants to clue you in on a secret, mutually lucrative motorcycle accessory deal.
