My dealer continues to impress me. I got a phone call this morning from my dealer just to ask if i had any problems or questions regarding my bike. I understand dealers going the extra mile to make a sale, but a follow up call! and to top things off he knows i am going to get a topbox and panniers when i can afford them (givi isn't cheap). He said he would order the box and panniers in, i could get them fitted at the 1000k service and if i didn't have all the cash i could pay them off. What the hell is on with these guys??? Dealers just arn't like this. I don't know if this is allowed but i have to give these guys a plug. Chris Watson Motorcycles Cessnock customer service 10/10. My local dealer should take a page out of these guys book.
What will they do next come down each month and polish it for me??? :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I'm having the same scenario with my local Suzuki Dealer. From the day I walked in the door it's been nothing but great service, especially from the head mechanic. I may be just a customer but they treat me like a friend. Service like that goes a long way. I've had times when I've brought the bike in without notice and they've dropped everything to work on it for me.

These guys are smart. Be nice and helpful to the customer and the customer will keep coming back, and also recommend them to others just like you already did. That's good business sense.
If I was moving to your area and after a bike, I would go there first simply because I've already heard great reports about them. And if they looked after me when I turned up, they just made another sale and just got another customer telling others to go there as well. See, the system works.

.....or it's like a drug dealer. Give a free sample, get you hooked and then jack up the price. Watch out!!! Your first sevice might cost $600

Good to hear your being looked after and happy with the dealer. It helps to have a good relationship with someone like that.

Cheers. BB

Like I told you guys before, hang on to these dealers.
My local dealers here in michigan USA are mean and crappy. They act like they're put out when you need something after the sale.
Screw 'em, I try to do everything myself and avoid my dealer.
You lucky skates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The dealer I bought mine from was a jackass. I will never set foot in their shop again. It kind of sucks because they are the closest Suzuki dealership to my house and they also sell and service Stingray powerboats and I have one of those too. But I paid full retail for my bike (in 2008) and got no gear thrown in with it. They didn't give two shits about my business and the salesman did not even recognize me when I picked up the bike. Not to mention the fact that just about every dealer assembled part was out of spec and I had to basically rebuild the entire bike before I even rode it.

So, if you are in Lafayette Louisiana, avoid Lafayette Power Sports at all costs.

No problems giving feed back {plug} if its good service OR bad {as long as its truthfull.}

When I got my bike serviced it was PISSING DOWN rain and they still insisted it be fully washed and cleaned before they handed me the keys back.
They also double checked the levers where at the right angle for me and the mechanic gave me his comments on what he done in the service and asked it I had any questions.
Westerns motorcycles at Penrith ,is where I'll by my next Suzuki on my 2nd from them.

I know CC Motorcycles aren't your favourite people eospro, but from day 1 every salesperson, spares, service (NOT your friendly manager - but he's a dick!) knew my name. Always greet me as a friend anytime I walk in.

The guys invite me (and my son) for rides and even gave us passes to the last Aust Superbikes at Eastern Creek. :D

And they wonder why folks shop on the internet rather than dropping some coin in their shop.

Wonder if Suzuki knows this dealership puts their customers at risk by building up their bikes so poorly. No excuse for this or the way they have treated you. You can always contact Suzuki, bet they'd want to know about it.

I brought suzuki boulevard from one of Australia's biggest suzuki dealer .
Picked the bike up and was shown it had 0 ZERO km's on it and the salesman was grinning ,showing how cool is to see ZERO .
Well for one ,it hasn't been test ridden ,was my first thought ,I'd rather it have 5km on it .
Anyway ,get on ride out the dealers threw a MAJOR intersection on a brand new bike and the mirror fall down and are spinning around and around unscrewing them selves ,and about to fall off and smash ,so I stop IN THE MIDDLE of the MAJOR intersection ,nearly been run over ,by other cars ,so I can screw the mirrors back on and not let them smash.
Ride 3 kms home {reason I went to this dealer as it was close and not my good dealers at penrith} and read the manual to see whats what and how things work on the bike.
At home I check the window for oil , never had a bike with a window ,but couldn't see any .
Rang a mate and he said ,you should see oil ,it like looking at beer threw a glass ,it should be yellow and easy to see?
Still can see any.
So I move on and check the coolant which is behind a plastic cover ..put screw driver in screw head ,and it falls out ,it wasn't even done up .Then went to the other screw and its just holding the cover on.

Well that was it ,mirrors falling off .... no oil ..and cover is just hanging on , and this is all I can see and check my self ,I got no idea if they tightened the wheel nuts properly.
Called them and they come and picked it up ...it had 3kms on it and I owned it for 1 hour ,before it got towed away.
Then they said ,I had to wait to get it re pre deliverd as ,I was now on the bottom of the list and might be a week before they can look at it .
I JUST BLOODY PAID $11,000 for a new bike {with it pre deliverd }and now I have to wait ,I went crazy and they said ok 3 days.
After 3 days rang them and they hadn't touched it ,I said don't touch it.
I rang Suzuki HQ and told them the story and they offered for it to be taken to any other dealer of my choice.
I got down there ,picked the bike up and took it to a mate ,who went over the whole bike and we double checked every thing ,it had a little oil in it so the motor was ok ,but still its not the point of paying for a bike and they don't even check the oil.
Found a few loose bolts and thing ..... ,brakes way out of whack ,if not at all set properly ,tyre pressure 2/3 full ....all they did was loosely bolt it together and give it to me ,lucky I was 3 kms away and not 100km ,I could of been killed.

First thing I do when getting a new bike ,is take it to the nearest petrol station and check oil ,tyres, coolant mirrors any thing I can ,before I get it home to double check as much as I can.

I bought my bike from a local small town dealer here in Guntersville, Alabama. He has been very nice to me, remembered my name and everything even after a year and a half. His attitude was what propted me to buy my new 4 wheeler from him 2 weeks ago, that and the good price he gave me.

I bought my bike last Saturday and they delivered for free. I got it at 6:30. The salesperson at the store, went over the bike with me from top to bottom and gave me some great tips.
The General Manager delivered it to me. It was a 26 mile one way trip. When he dropped it off he did the same thing and asked if I had any questions. Then I got a call today and it was the General Manager asking how the bike and I were and any questions that I may have. The staff at Cycle Nation in Braselton, Ga were great, no pressure selling, The accessory department staff were very knowledgeable. I met the mechanics were friendly as well and the shop was immaculate.
I would recommend them highly.

John

The only good thing about my dealership was the price on the bike. I had gone through the specs of the GSXF and the FZ6, sat on the bike and talked at length with a helpful salesperson. He said he was off that weekend so if I was going to purchase the bike over the weekend to give him a call on his cell. I called him to let him know I was going to go in and purchase the bike and it was if we had never met. He said, "oh, your the guy looking at the Husky!" I corrected him and reminded him of hour 45 minute conversation the day before. He says "Oh sorry, I remember you now" So I asked if he was going in the dealership he said he couldn't but he would call in for them to expect me. Before we hung up he actually said "Good luck on that Husky, you are going to love that bike" ?!?!?!?!

I went in and purchased the bike as promised. The stand in salesperson I was dealing with now had zero knowledge of the "F" He kept giving me bad info and I had no problem correcting him. He apologized and said he just came over from one of our local bike superstores and was just learning the new inventory.

As I was working on getting the bike delivered I asked if he was going to fill the bike with gas (no) and if they were going to clean the bike for me since it was on the floor with paw prints all over it. He looked at me like I had a massive growth sticking out of my forehead. He said, the bike was brand new and was clean. I pointed out some smudges and he had the balls to put his hands under his shirt and use it to wipe down the tank. I asked him WTF are you doing? and he said "what, is this bad for the paint?", I told him to just stop and I would handle it myself. After receiving the bike, I had to tighten miscellaneous fasteners and the mirrors which started rotating and drooping on my first ride.

Long rant over but in a nutshell, price was the ONLY good thing about the dealership.
