It sounds better with the baffle out. I'll record it this weekend. Although, it doesn't help the gas consumption. I've developed an intentional heavy right hand.

How easy is the installation for someone without a lot of mechanical expertise?

Super! The hardest part is drilling the hole. The instructions are very clear. I would say it has been the easiest mod to do, 15-20 min tops.

can you tell me how you took the baffeling out? i took out the screw at the end of the tip and tried to get that brass ring out but i didnt want to crack the carbon... any advise would be great. Thanks

I've heard in another forum that some have used the spring puller tool. Some also said that they had to drill out the screw but that wasn't the case for us.

I was able to just wiggle it side to side. Then you pull as you start to loosen it. It was also easier to pull with the pipe attached. It goes with out saying but make sure it's cool before you do it.

I hope that helps, let me know if it works out or if you need more help.

I got the screw out ill try the wiggle method... thanks for the help, I didnt wanna start drillin those rivits out. I think that would be to much of a pain. thanks again!!

Much thanks, that was probably the most difficult thing I've ever recorded. It sounds much better as you ride. Just enough sound to be heard but not overly annoying.
