I initially wanted the Scorp pipe but I got the R-77 for a really good price, too good to pass up from Jazz Motorsports (Great store!). As already stated, the weight difference between the stock and damn near any other pipe is huge.

It took no more than 20 or so minutes to switch out. For a gasket sealer, I used Permatex® Ultra Copper® Maximum Temperature RTV Silicone Gasket Maker

When I first started her up . . . OH MAN! Huge difference vs. stock. Very deep and rich. I then took out the baffle which took no drilling of any kind which changed the sound drastically. Still deep but more higher tones were present. I wouldn't not say it's the loudest pipe out there though. I've recorded some audio clips that I will post later.

Image poster was not working so I used Image Shack.

In the last pic, I just received and installed a slider made for the exhaust. I got from
Ebay for $30 + shipping. Protect your investment!

I've heard in another forum that some have used the spring puller tool. Some also said that they had to drill out the screw but that wasn't the case for us.

I was able to just wiggle it side to side. Then you pull as you start to loosen it. It was also easier to pull with the pipe attached. It goes with out saying but make sure it's cool before you do it.

I hope that helps, let me know if it works out or if you need more help.

LMAO, well he does have the garage of all garages. I've never even heard of such a tool. What other purposes is it useful for?

Here's the clip with the baffle. I used a SM-57 about 2.5 to 3 ft. I gotta re-record without the baffle though. There was too much clipping so I have to reposition the mic.

Moto with baffle.wav - 4.37MB

I couldn't find a streaming website without signing up. So you gotta download.

No problem on the clip they're aren't many sound clips recorded with real recording equipment. Anything else just doesn't do it justice.

Yes I have and it's awesome. I'm sure that it'll look more impressive with out the mud flap. Thanks for the hook up. Although you did a lot of the hard work with alignment, "The pain in the ass mod" award goes to . . . the PB Hugger lol.
